Nokia Lumia 2520 VS. Microsoft Surface 2

Nokia Lumia 2520 VS. Microsoft Surface 2

They both will be running with Windows RT OS which is basically a simple version of Windows Pro but without the extra features. Still a great OS for people that are use to using Windows on their computers. The Surface 2 features a USB and Micro HDMI port. But the Lumia 2520 offers the same ports but with NFC which could be helpful when sharing files yet weird bumping tablets with someone else, just a little.

We want tablets with bold displays and the Surface 2 supports a 10.6-inch compared to the 10.1-inch on the Lumia 2520. But wait, they both still feature the same 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution. That means that it’s up to you on how big you want your display to be.

When it comes to power under the hood then the Surface 2 takes the cake with it’s 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. While the Lumia 2520 only features a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It’s the best for gamers but it’s decent for normal everyday tasks.

I still don’t see why people record videos and take photos with their tablets but the Surface 2 features a decent 5 megapixel camera that’s not really a match for the 6.7 megapixel rear camera. I still say that your smartphone has a better camera and won’t have you looking stupid in public.

If you want the most space with 128GBs then the Lumia 2520 is your tablet. But the 32GB model is about $450 ($449) and the 64GB model is about $550 ($549). Both prices for the Surface 2.
