Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 6.1.4 in the Works

Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 6.1.4 in the Works

When iOS 7 BETA was released to developers, jailbreak developers stopped trying to make a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 because they feared that if a jailbreak was released it would be patched when iOS 7 was released. But developer Winocm, as he is known on Twitter, never gave up on the jailbreak.

He posted an update on his progress on developing a jailbreak stating that the jailbreak is almost done and that it would only work on certain devices that were most likely the iPhone 3GS and the iPod Touch 4th Generation. He also stated that there is not estimated time for when it will be done. This is great news for anyone that has an older device that does not support iOS 7 and for people who did not like it and chose to stay on iOS 6.1.3.
