Where does the Inateck KT4007 exceed?

The Inateck KT4007 is a great buy for someone who is needing USB 3.0 ports or doesn’t have a USB 3.0 header on their motherboard but their front I/O supports it. It is a very cheap solution to get USB 3.0 ports. It’s affordable, effective, and easy to use! I’ve had absolutely no issues in the time I’ve used it and it’s worked exactly as advertised.

Where does the Inateck KT4007 lack?

The only thing the KT4007 lacks in is looks. The card works exactly as I’d expect it but isn’t the prettiest expansion card I’ve put into a computer. With it’s green PCB it is very noticeable in any custom build, but if you don’t care how it will look any only how it performs then there is nothing wrong with this card.

How does the Inateck KT4007 fit in my life?

When using this card I thought of 3 different types of scenarios where this card would be very useful. The first being someone who doesn’t have any USB 3.0 ports and is looking to take advantage of some 5Gbps devices. The second being someone who, like myself, only has 2 (or very few) USB 3.0 ports and would like to have more to take advantage of faster devices. The third being someone who has a case that has USB 3.0 on the front I/O but their motherboard doesn’t have a USB 3.0 header, they can simply plug the header into the PCI card.

Why should you purchase this for yourself?

If you fit any of the scenarios listen above I STRONGLY recommend getting this card. If you don’t fit any of those, well, you can never have too many USB 3.0 ports (can you?).
